The short version

Only quote requests are kept. Browsing leaves no trace here: the site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising.

Who looks after your information

Neil Evans runs Llantarnam Roofline on his own account and is the data controller. Send anything about your information to hello@llantarnamroofline.co.uk.

Questions on the form

Four boxes are required: who you are, how to ring you, the postcode and the type of roofline job. The email box, house details, notes and both photo slots can stay empty.

What becomes of a request

At present it is read and then left alone. There is currently no roofline firm working with this site, so no request goes to another business, gets sold or ends up on a mailing list. Photographs are never published. Each request, photos included, is wiped a month at most after it lands.

Storage and legal basis

Requests come through as emails to a Gmail inbox run by Google, and the website sits on UK servers belonging to Krystal Hosting Ltd. Neither of them makes use of the contents. Processing relies on legitimate interests: filling in the form signals that you would like it looked at.

Asking about your details

Email the address above to see the information held on you, have something put right, or have it deleted ahead of time. Expect an answer within a calendar month. If that answer leaves you dissatisfied, the Information Commissioner’s Office handles complaints via its complaints page.
